CERTIFIED ORGANIC SEED, 1 packet (100 seeds)

Aquilegia Canadensis This stunning perennial wildflower is native to the US and is very attractive to butterflies and other nectar feeders, especially hummingbirds! The unique hollow spurs on the blossoms contain an abundance of nectar, though only hummingbirds and other long-tongued feeders can reach it. A perfect choice for a part sun/part shade location and makes an excellent cut flower. Blooms in the second year after it is established.

Growing Notes

Direct seed in late fall or early spring. Sow just below the surface of the soil. Plant in fertile, moist, well-drained soil and full sun or partial shade. Seed can also be started indoors; keep soil lightly moist until germination. USDA Zones: 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9
