Growing Notes
Start indoors 4 to 6 weeks before transplanting outside. Direct seed outside 1 to 2 weeks after your average last frost date, and when soil temperature is over 60°F. Germinates best in soils 70-90°F. Plant 1⁄4” deep, 2-3 seeds per foot; when 2” tall, thin to 8-12”. Transplant with 12” spacing when nighttime temperatures are warmer than 50°F. Emergence 5-10 days.
