Phaseolus vulgaris (55-62 days) This vigorous pole bean will set nice straight, green beans for you from the base to the top of 7-8 foot vines. Prolific, delicious, tender, 5-6” beans, it sets the excellence standard in bean flavor! You will love them fresh, frozen, pickled or canned. Earlier than bush beans, you can harvest this bean standing up! Easy to harvest, your vines will produce unabated until frost. The beans are straight, not curved, making them easier to clean, cut and process.  This bean will become your gold standard for green beans. 

Growing Notes

Vining habit up to 8 ft.; trellis, teepee or fence. Planting Depth: 1 inch; Plant spacing: 6 inches in single or double rows. Double rows spaced 12” apart; trellis in middle. Increase yields by inoculating where natural Rhizobia is low. Soil Temp. for Germ.: 60-80°F. Days to Germ.: 7-16 days; Partial shade. Moderate moisture.
