Lactuca saliva (35 day baby; 60-70 days full) A colorful and flavorful addition to your garden and salad bowl. We blended our favorite romaine varieties, including: Bakito, an oval-shaped heirloom with purple leaves; Forellenschluss, a crisp, green and red-speckled heirloom; Rosalita, a red romaine; Romulus, a green romaine; and crosses of all them.

Growing Notes  
Sow early spring in full sun and late summer for fall crop. Sow thinly in rows 12" apart, cover with 1/4" fine soil, firm lightly and keep evenly moist. To grow as head lettuce, start indoors 6 weeks before transplant. Emergence: 6-10 days.
