CERTIFIED ORGANIC SEED, 1 packet (25 seeds)

Cucurbita pepo (35-55 days) This open-pollinated golden yellow zucchini matures at 35-55 days from direct seeding, depending on growing conditions. Bred by Carol Depp in the Pacific Northwest, she touts them as “quite possibly-- the most productive on the planet.” They're at their prime when they reach 1 lb, which is 2X larger than most zucchini varieties! More food with less effort! They're still good for slicing and drying at the 3 lb stage, so you can easily stock your pantry with zucchini powder to add to your soups, stews, casseroles. Use zucchini flour for quick breads, substituting for a portion of the flour.

By purchasing this seed you are a part of the FREE THE SEED movement... this zucchini was bred by Carol Depp and is registered as OPEN SOURCE through the Open Source Seed Initiative (OSSI). To learn more, click here.
