Growing Notes
Sow indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost. Sow in starter trays, pressing the seed into the soil but do not cover. Seeds need light to germinate. Transplant to 2-3” cell trays or 3" pots once they have several true leaves; harden off and transplant after last frost. Or sow Salvia flower seeds outdoors in spring after last frost. Germination 10-30 days, depending on temperature; faster germination at 75–78°F.
