Lactuca sativa (30 days baby; 60 days full) Our favorite garden romaine! Romulus will grace your table with sweet, hardy, medium heads, vibrant green outer leaves, and lighter green interior. Heat tolerant and slow to bolt. Friends and family will rave about its crunchy, smooth texture and great flavor!

Growing Notes  
Sow in full sun in early spring for first crop and late summer for fall crop. Sow thinly in rows 12" apart, cover with 1/4" fine soil, firm lightly and keep evenly moist. For transplants and to grow as head lettuce, start indoors 6 weeks before transplant. Emergence: 6-10 days. Resistant to lettuce mosaic virus (LMV).
